Experience the freedom of open cockpit flying with our Microlight License, enabling you to pilot microlight aircraft.
The training for Microlight License includes:
- Theory & Exams (Minimum pass mark of 75%)
- Aircraft Technical and General Knowledge
- Microlight Operations (Weight shift / Conventional)
- Air Law
- Flight Exercises & Briefings
- Navigation
- Restricted Radio Telephony
- Meteorology
- Human Performance
- Principles of Flight
A minimum of 25 hours of flying time is required, culminating in a flight test for Microlight License.
Requirements for Gyrocopter License:
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Medical fitness (Class 4 aviation medical certificate)
Duration of Microlight License training:
Our flexible training schedule allows full-time students to complete the program in 3-4 weeks or part-time students to learn at their own pace.
Aircraft used for Microlight License training:
Train on our Solo Wings Aquila Trike, known for its excellent control feedback, ensuring a positive learning experience.
